Job Summary:
The PALACE Acquire Program offers you a permanent position upon completion of your formal training plan. As a Palace Acquire Intern you will experience both personal and professional growth while dealing effectively and ethically with change, complexity, and problem solving. The program offers a 2 or 3-year formal training plan with yearly salary increases. Promotions and salary increases are based upon your successful performance and supervisory approval. This is your opportunity to begin a successful civilian career with the United States Air Force. These positions are being filled under the Acquisition Expedited Hiring Authority (EHA) and are located Air Force Wide. Positions are filled as permanent with a full-time work schedule. Pay may vary by geographic location. Note: Both the GS-07 and GS-09 will be filled from this announcement and starting grades will be based on education and experience If you are qualifying based on your undergraduate degree you will be required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). You must complete the GRE with a combined score (verbal and quantitative) of 1000 if tested prior to Aug 2011 or score of 297 if tested after Aug 2011. GRE scores mus be provided before a Firm Offer and Entrance on Duty date (EOD). Applicants possessing graduate education do not require a GRE score. QUALITY RANKING FACTOR: These positions have a quality ranking factor which states that you must have a minimum 3.1 undergraduate cumulative GPA.
