The Position

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.  Conducts analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise wide systems.  Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures.  Configures system settings and options; plans and executes integration acceptance testing.  Develops conversion and system implementation plans.  Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.  May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Identifies and analyzes complex business problems that are candidates for automation.

- Understands complex business processes and develops alternatives for process improvement.

- Leads the configuration efforts of enterprise applications to address business requirements.

- Leads cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. 

- Works directly with program-area Business Managers to identify problem solutions.

Formal Training/Education:

BS or equivalent in a directly related discipline.  Advanced studies or training.

Experience:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Expertise in SQL or PL/SQL.

- Exceptional Oracle database logical design skills.

- Development experience using SOA framework.

- Expertise in commercial Internet/web tools, protocols, and development languages.

- Experience with Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence packages, concepts and architecture.

- Basic understanding of ETL processes and how to design, develop & implement well integrated process.

- Helps develop programming standards.
