Job Description:

Certification Level: CCIE Certified in Routing & Switching

Important Job Responsibilities
•A solid understanding of Routing and Switching is essential,
•Hands on exp. in Cisco routers and switches.
•Skills in the areas of Wireless, Voice and Security will be an added advantage.
•Consulting activities of network design and optimization specifically on OSPF, BGP and MPLS besides other routing/switching technologies
•Proposal activities including preparing design, project plan, estimating effort
Design, integration and management of core IP network (OSPF, BGP, MPLS-VPNs), especially in a service provider environment.

Other Responsibilities included also:

•Innovate compelling new experiences that make collaborative work fun and productive
•Act as a team lead for the designers, providing guidance and feedback
•Work with a cross-functional team to define a vision for the user experience
•Ensure the designers have the right process and infrastructure to be successful
•Work with user researchers to design, observe, and analyze field studies
•Generate user personas and scenarios to document user needs and behavior
•Conduct heuristic evaluations on existing products
•Create and communicate conceptual designs to drive product direction
•Define the user interaction model and workflows for key tasks
•Work with visual designers to refine the interactive experience and produce designs consistent with Cisco’s brand
•Develop prototypes ranging from paper-and-pencil concepts to wireframes or interactive prototypes
•Work with usability engineers to design, observe, and analyze usability studies
•Create high-fidelity mockups based on visual design guidelines
•Develop user interface specifications and guidelines
•Work closely with engineers to implement and deliver the final product
•Facilitate project communication across a multidisciplinary team throughout all phases of the project

4.Ability to learn and scale up new technologies
5.Strong experience on OSPF/BGP/MPLS-VPNs.
6.Strong leadership and people skills; must be able to guide and mentor a team
7.Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills; and the ability to quickly prioritize tasks
8.Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems and convey these designs in the form of presentations, prototypes, and design specifications
9.Must communicate clearly and effectively; strong analytical and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; a self-starter that is able to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team
10.Experience doing user-centered design in an Agile software development environment
11.Experience designing voice and video applications is highly desirable
12.Familiarity with technical topics relating to network management, system administration, and voice/video communication is a plus
