Solaris/Unix Engineer - TEKsystems - Arlington, VA: This is a great opportunity to work for a newly awarded ITIP contract supporting the DHS in Pentagon City or Merryfield for a top 5 government integrator We have a start date for September 1st and this program is long term In this program we can process clearable technical professionals for a DHS clearance We prefer a clearance because it will speed up the process and the program can hold up to a Top Secret clearance Also a great position for any individuals with a DOD clearance to also obtain a DHS clearance Essential Job Functions Develop a standard Solaris 10 Image to be used in both a Test and Production environments Have the ability to add disks to storage groups Creation Mirroring and removal of PLEXs General understanding of VERITAS etc...
